At a typical business meeting, upcoming charitable activities & projects are discussed, as well as past accomplishments. You will find time for socializing, then after lunch, at some meetings, we may have a program consisting of speakers providing educational, entertaining & enlightening programs.
Evening Section accommodates working members who are unable to meet during the day. At a typical Evening Section meeting you will find refreshments, socializing, and conducting of business to discuss future charitable activities, fundraising & project accomplishments. Occasionally there are speakers, or we participate in a charitable project or game activity.
The objectives of this non profit organization shall be the advancement in all lines of general culture, promotion of the general welfare of the community and philanthropic work by all its members.
The specific and primary purposes are to aid in building a better community, by doing worthwhile services and to stimulate intellectual growth of our members.
Our corporation is organized for charitable purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
La Crescenta Woman’s Club began its service to the Foothill Communities in 1911. The club’s members have volunteered countless hours, raised thousands of dollars and donated a variety of items to many charities within our community.
La Crescenta Woman’s Club is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization for individuals of diverse ages, backgrounds and talents. The club is dedicated to make a difference in our community through volunteer service, always recognizing the ever-changing lifestyles and interests of our members. People join for charitable and educational purposes, for friendship and caring support, and for rewarding volunteer and leadership opportunities.
